Eligibility for Societies of Unani in Specialized Fields
Applicants must hold a valid medical degree and specialization in the field of Unani medicine.
Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of Unani medicine or specialized branches.
Applicants must provide proof of their qualifications, experience, and contributions to the field of Unani medicine.
Membership will be granted for a period of 3 year, during which the applicant must fulfil certain requirements set by the Society.
Members must attend at least 3 Society events or conferences during their membership period.
Members must adhere to the Society’s code of ethics and professional standards at all times.
Members must participate in at least one Society committee or working group during their membership period.
Members must pay membership fee as determined by the Society.
Members will be evaluated at the end of their 3-year membership period for extension for another years, or revoked based on their contributions and participation in the Society.
Members must submit a research paper or case study related to specialized field of Unani system of medicine for publication in the Society’s journal.
Code of Ethics for Societies of Unani in Specialized Fields
Members must conduct themselves in a professional and ethical manner at all times, adhering to the principles and
values of the Society.
Members must respect the confidentiality of patient information and adhere to all relevant data protection laws
and regulations.
Members must not engage in any form of unethical or fraudulent behaviour, including but not limited to plagiarism, data fabrication, or falsification of research findings.
Members must attend and actively participate in Society events, meetings, and committees as required by the Society.
Members must submit any required research papers, case studies, or contributions to the Society’s journal in a
timely manner.
Members must pay any required membership fees promptly and in accordance with the Society’s guidelines.
Members must uphold the reputation and integrity of the Society and the field of Unani medicine, in their professional activities.
Members must provide support and mentorship to other members, particularly
junior members, in the specialized field of Unani.
Members must adhere to all local, national, and international laws and regulations governing their practice in the specialised field of unani medicine.
Members must actively promote the goals and objectives of the Society and contribute to the advancement of knowledge and practice in the specialized field of Unani.
